1、必须买学生保险吗？
根据中国教育部、公安部、外交部第42号令，第六章，第40条规定，实行国际学生全员保险制度。在中国境内的国际学生均须购买中国联华保险公司的指定综合医疗保险，否则将不允许注册入学及上课。
针对应用中文学院学生，如果你已经在华，而且申请了相应学习签证，需要尽快在开课前购买保险。另外，招生号是WS网课学生无需购买该保险。
In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security （No. 42, Chapter 6, Article 40） , all international students who are in China are required to purchase the mandate designated comprehensive medical insurance provided by China Lianhua Insurance before the registration. Otherwise you are not allowed to register for the incoming courses and take classes.
For students who are already in China and have applied study visa for learning in BLCU, need to purchase the insurance as soon as possible or before their class starts. If you have admission number starting with WS, then no need to purchase the insurance.
2、保险费用多少？
保险费为800元人民币/人/学年，400元人民币/人/学期，240元人民币/人/两个月，160元人民币/人/一个月。学习期限超过180天者，需一次交付一学年的医疗保险费；
Insurance premium：4 weeks and below: 160 RMB; 1 to 2 months: 240 RMB; Half a year (1 semester): 400 RMB; one year (2 semesters): 800 RMB. If the study duration is more than 180 days, the medical insurance premium for one academic year must be paid in one payment; if the study duration is less than 180 days, the medical insurance premium covering the whole study duration must be paid in one payment.
